Edge is proud to support Born This Way Foundation’s #BeKind21 initiative, encouraging acts of kindness toward yourself and others each day from September 1 to September 21 to build kinder, more connected communities that foster mental wellness.

As part of #BeKind21, Edge recognizes prioritizing youth wellness, especially youth mental wellness, is a profound and important act of kindness. Within that spirit, Edge is proud to donate to the efforts of Ali Forney Center, The Trevor Project, and Precious Dreams Foundation.

During your visit, be sure to check out the various opportunities to participate in acts of kindness on site, including writing messages of kindness to the communities supported by the Ali Forney Center, The Trevor Project, and Precious Dreams Foundation.

HELPING HANDS BY Shanée Benjamin

To celebrate #BeKind21, Edge tapped Brooklyn-based queer artist Shanée Benjamin to create a mural depicting the initiative.  Titled “Helping Hands”, the mural will be on view from September 1 to September 21.

The organization has grown to become the largest agency dedicated to LGBTQ+ homeless youths in the country, assisting more than 2,000 youths at 17 sites throughout four boroughs of New York City.
